Here is why MS Dhoni was left unimpressed with Sushant Singh Rajput

MS Dhoni is arguably the most celebrated cricketer in the modern day world. He is revered as one of the best captains to have ever played the game of cricket. Last year, the Bollywood movie titled – MS Dhoni: The Untold Story – released worldwide. The movie was his biopic that showcased the highs and the lows of the cricketing career of Dhoni.

The former Indian cricketer had to see a lot of hardships before he ended up becoming the best finisher in the cricket world. His rise from being a ticket collector in the Indian railways to being the World Cup winning captain of India is truly inspirational. In the movie, actor Sushant Singh Rajput was seen playing the titular role. The way Sushant fit into the role deserves a lot of credit. He perfectly nailed the role and managed to get into the shoes of Dhoni in the best possible way.

He had put in a lot of efforts for the movie and had undergone rigorous training sessions in cricket as well. MS Dhoni was not very active in promoting his biopic but did make a couple of appearances in the media conferences before the release. He is known to share great camaraderie with Sushant Singh Rajput. Both men seem to be in mutual admiration of each other.

All not well?

Amidst this situation, it would be hard to believe that all might not be very cool between the two. Apparently, post the biopic release, Dhoni was a little miffed. The reason was recently disclosed during the shoot of the Kapil Sharma Show. Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon had been to the show to promote their upcoming release ‘Raabta’.

It was on the sets that SSR revealed that Dhoni was miffed with Sushant after the movie release. One of the sources at the sets, as per the quotes in Circle of Bollywood, quoted, “Sushant shared that after the biopic released, Dhoni was a little miffed. Reason: Every time someone typed Dhoni’s name on Google, Sushant’s images popped up!”
