The world is in awe of MS Dhoni – the captain. The veteran led Team India for the 200th time in the One-Day Internationals in the game against Afghanistan. The way he handles his emotions on the field is absolutely impeccable and even the foreign internationals bow down for his captaincy skills. However, the Australian cricketer George Bailey has revealed a very cheeky liking of Dhoni which very knows while also praising him after playing under him in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Cricket Australia (CA) has prepared a congratulatory video dedicated to Dhoni after he became the first Asian captain to lead his country in 20o ODIs a couple of days ago. Though Bailey, having been his teammate at the Chennai Super Kings for a brief period, had to say a little bit more about him.

He revealed that Dhoni bonds with the youngsters in the team with a hookah which is set up in his room. “He likes smoking a bit of the sheesha or the hookah. So, he quite often would set that up in his room, and it was very much open door policy. You would go in and quite often find a lot of younger players there,” Bailey said in the video.

I’ve never seen him panic

George Bailey was amazed at MS Dhoni’s ability to stay calm even under extreme pressure and guessed that he might be feeling at some point in time during the close game. He also lauded Mahi’s finishing abilities and went on to say that he will find a way somehow to win the games for his teams when one thinks it is impossible.

“He’s just a picture of calmness and sereneness. It’s pretty amazing. I mean all the Indian players the pressure they play under in and the scrutiny that they face but MS… I’m sure if he does feel pressure, I have never seen it. I have seen walk him to the wicket with games all but impossible to win and he finds a way to get you home,” Bailey added.
