MS Dhoni hasn’t had much to do of late as the Indian team is currently playing in the five-match Test series against England. Prior to that, the 37-year-old donned the national colours in the T20I and ODI series against the Brits and was a recipient of a significant amount of criticisms from the supporters. He strained to find his rhythm with the willow and couldn’t make much of an impact.

The veteran was also booed by the audience at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London for his indifferent style of batting when India needed someone to step on the gas. However, Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, supported the former skipper after his erratic run of form. India will now play a couple of more Test matches at The Rose Bowl and Kennington Oval respectively.

Dhoni having a good time out

After their two and half months endeavour on English soil, Kohli’s men are scheduled to head to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where they will play the six-nation Asia Cup. Dhoni will also be back in the team and would be hoping to resurrect his wretched fortunes in the limited-overs format. The Men in Blue’s first match will be against the Qualifier on September 18 in Dubai.

Dhoni is also expected to play a pivotal role in the 50-over World Cup next year in England and Wales. Meanwhile, the Jharkhand-born cricketer is having a gala time. He is enjoying a vacation in Shimla, the capital and the largest city of the northern state of Himachal Pradesh, with his family.

The outing can definitely do a world of good to Dhoni’s frame of mind before he takes the field in the Asia Cup. Recently, Sakshi, his better half, posted some photos and a video from the exotic destination.

Here are some of the pictures and the video posted by Sakshi
