MS Dhoni is showered with priceless 'unconditional love'

MS Dhoni, the former Indian captain, and his admiration for pet animals is an open secret. Back in 2013, the Jharkhand-born cricketer had adopted a stray dog from a rescue home in Ranchi. Moreover, he also requested the residents to do the same thing and help the needy ones out. Previously, in an interview, the 37-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman talked about his affinity for dogs.
He said that he has three of them at home and he would love to go back home and spend time with them. Moreover, Dhoni mentioned that they don’t treat him any differently and greet him in the same way even if his team loses, and the gesture relaxes him to a significant extent. His wife Sakshi Dhoni is also fond of pets and has been seen posing with them on quite a few occasions.
Recently, Dhoni posted a video on Instagram where he can be seen training dogs with a tennis ball. He can be seen throwing the ball after which the dogs pounced on it with their mouth. The video already has garnered over 40 thousand views in a tad over half an hour. He captioned the video and wrote, “A bit of hugging, training, catching practice and getting unconditional love in return. priceless”

As far as his cricketing career is concerned, Dhoni hasn’t had the best of times of late. He played in India’s ODI and T20I series against England and couldn’t quite come into his own with the willow. He was also booed by the audience at Lord’s, the Home of Cricket.
He was subsequently slapped with criticisms and some even went on to suggest him a retirement. His next assignment is expected to be in the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) next month. India are the defending champions and would again be a force to reckon with.
