MS Dhoni trolls CSK teammate Kedar Jadhav in a viral video
Jadhav found a similarity between CSK's win in the opening game of the 2018 and 2019 seasons of the IPL.
Chennai Super Kings uploaded a video wherein we see all-rounder Kedar Jadhav talking about the team’s win in the low-scoring opening game of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League, which was played between the defending champions and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The game was hosted at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. Skipper MS Dhoni was also there and he had a lot of fun at Jadhav’s expense.
Jadhav tried to draw parallels between the season-opener of IPL 2019 and of the previous season, i.e. IPL 2018. The right-hander mentioned that he was at the crease both times when the team got over the line. Donning the CSK jersey, Jadhav chased down RCB’s low score and he recollected how he was also batting when the Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians in a thriller in the opening game of the 2018 IPL. However, in the said match against Mumbai during the IPL 2018, Jadhav had pulled his hamstring and had to return home because of his injury.
The witty MS Dhoni came up with a very funny retort to this video. As Jadhav was being recorded by Mohit Sharma, Dhoni was adding his comments from behind. Jadhav, Sharma, and the others enjoyed the banter and couldn’t control their laughter. While Jadhav was nostalgic and looked happy as he was reminiscing the similarities between the aforementioned matches, Dhoni trolled him. Dhoni wittingly retorted with: “Ghar jaane ka waapas plan hai?”
Mohit then also turned to CSK pacer Shardul Thakur who was sitting beside them. Shardul wasn’t even required to bowl in the opening encounter and he joked about it. Veteran spinner Imran Tahir picked three wickets against MI and talked about the team atmosphere at CSK and how they enjoyed each other’s success.
