Back in 2004, Indian cricket was blessed with a cricketer by the name of MS Dhoni. The Ranchi-born cricketer didn’t look back ever since he forayed into cricket at the highest level. He made own a number of records and is currently one of the most sought-after players even at the age of 37 years. The former Indian captain is undoubtedly one of the greatest cricketers India have ever produced.
Apart from captaincy and batting, his numbers with the gloves behind the wickets can’t be dismissed by any stretch of the imagination. With 610 catches and 178 stumpings, he is one of the most successful wicketkeepers the cricketing world has ever witnessed. However, he is in the middle of a turbulent phase of his career and has been a recipient of a fair amount of flak from the supporters.
MS Dhoni- the trendsetter
Apart from wielding magic on the cricket pitch, Dhoni also prefers to sport new looks. When he made his debut, he had long and golden-streaked hair. Even former Pakistani President Parvez Musharraf advised him to not alter his hairstyle when India toured the nation back in 2004. Nevertheless, he shortened his hair as his hair progressed and also turned his personality around.
During this year’s IPL, the seasoned campaigner was seen in a ‘Mohawk’ style where both the sides of his head were completely shaven. Recently, he got himself a new haircut ‘V-Hawk’. Mad O Wot Hair Salon, a Mumbai-based salon posted Dhoni’s picture on their Instagram account.

He took to Instagram and wrote, “Special day calls for a special haircut. Here’s my birthday gift for the one and only Mahi. This stunt is performed by an expert, don’t try this at home,”
