Former England captain Michael Vaughan has once again sent out some cheeky remarks about India’s win against England in the second T20I on Sunday. According to the cricket expert’s comments, it was the Mumbai Indians who defeated the English team.

This tweet is a follow-up to some of the tweets which Vaughan had uploaded after the post after the Indian team had lost the first match. In that tweet, he had trolled them by saying that the Mumbai Indians, the defending champions of the IPL, are a better T20 side than the Indian team.

In the second match, India brought in Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav into the XI, both of whom play for Mumbai Indians. After their selection call was revealed, Vaughan tweeted saying that the Indian team has heard his words and introduced two Mumbai Indians players. He wrote, “I see @BCCI have taken the advice & got more @mipaltan players involved … Very smart move … #INDvsENG”

After this, once India started batting and Kishan was on full swing with the bat and Vaughan decided to put up another tweet. In this one, he praised Kishan and said, “Told you all the @mipaltan were better than India … What a debut @ishankishan51 !! #INDvsENG”

The knock by Kishan was vital for India after they lost KL Rahul for a duck in the first over. Kishan scored 56 runs from 32 balls and his counter-attacking knock helped India to keep the pressure on the visitors.

After India won the match against England by seven wickets, Vaughan once again tweeted. He simply said that Mumbai Indians were too good for England, referring to the debuts of Ishan and Suryakumar once again. He wrote, “The @mipaltan were too good for England today … #INDvENGt20”

In the previous match, Vaughan’s tweet about how Mumbai Indians have a better team than India had attracted a lot of attention. The tweet also received a cheeky reply from Wasim Jaffer. The former Indian batsman cheekily said that not all teams have the privilege of playing four overseas players, referring to the presence of players like Eoin Morgan (Ireland), Jofra Archer (Barbados), Jason Roy (South Africa) and Ben Stokes (New Zealand), who were all born outside England and didn’t play for their own countries.
