After a scintillating stint in Champions Trophy 2017, few Bangladeshi players decided to stay back and cherish a few moments away from cricket with a Europe tour. Wicketkeeper-batsman, Mushfiqur Rahim being one of four players who stayed back, visited Camp Nou.
Camp Nou
Camp Nou is located in Barcelona, Spain and was established way back in 1957. Though, renovation and development have been done since then, which makes it a place to visit for every football fan. Just being in that atmosphere, feels much more than anything to a Barcelona fans.
Mushfiqur visited ‘Camp Nou’
Being a diehard fan of Spanish giants, Barcelona, Mushfiqur had a long-live dream to visit this place which finally came true. It is an open secret that the Test skipper is one of the biggest fans of the Barcelona Football team. Even in the past, he has been spotted wearing either the jacket or the jersey of the club.
After paying a visit to Camp Nou, Mushfiqur posted two heavenly pictures social media. In one of two pictures, he was seen standing in the stands seeing his team doing their practice drills. In the other, he was posing with golden boots with a backdrop of football star Lionel Messi.
In both the pictures, he was seen wearing a custom kit of Barcelona with MR15 written on its back.

Next assignment against Australia
The other three players who didn’t travel with Bangladeshi team back home were, Mahmudullah Riyad, Shakib Al Hasan and Imrul Kayes. However, all four are expected to be back soon.
Bangladesh will play their next series against Australia which starts in the fourth week of August at their home soil. The series will feature a two-day warm-up game which will be followed two Tests in Dhaka and Chittagong respectively. Musfiqur being the Test skipper, will definitely look forward to carrying their ODI performance at Test level.
