Legendary music singer and Hollywood personality Dolly Parton recently started a new trend on social media, which involves posting a four-photo mosaic of potential profile photos for social media sites LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Tinder. The 74-year-old media mogul inspired many fellow celebrities to do the same, with some hilarious results.
Celebrities like Jennifer Garner, Naomi Campbell, and Mark Ruffalo plus thousands of non-famous folks quickly latched onto the idea and posted their own versions. Users are posting a professional-looking photo for LinkedIn, a laid-back image for Facebook, a glammed-up shot for Instagram, while a seducing click for Tinder. It seems the challenge has found its way to cricketers as well and Ishant Sharma was seen taking it up with a mosaic of his own, but with a twist.
Ishant Sharma posts his wedding photo as the Tinder pic
The lanky Delhi pacer, who is currently nursing an ankle injury he suffered during the Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Vidarbha, took up the Dolly Parton Social challenge and posted four photos of himself for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Tinder, which got the fans talking.
He posted a photo in the Indian team’s blazer for his LinkedIn pic, an India team photo celebrating a wicket as his Facebook profile, him chilling at a vacation spot as his Instagram photo, but the twist came when he had to post a relative racy pic for his tinder profile. But Ishant, who is married to national basketball player Pratima Singh, posted a photo from his wedding day, where the couple is seated on the stage, for his Tinder profile, with a funny caption, on his Instagram.
Ishant posted, “Had to keep up with the challenge, so here is my version Also, I am happily married to @pratima0808 & she would definitely kill me if I am on tinder #linkedin #facebook #instagram #tinder #dollyparton #dollypartonchallenge #dolly #parton”
Meanwhile, Ishant who has played 96 Tests, is trying to recover in time for the two Tests in New Zealand, India’s first since a successful home season in 2019, where they beat South Africa and Bangladesh, apart from triumph against West Indies which kicked off their domination in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship.
