Natasa Stankovic and Hardik Pandya sizzle together in the former's throwback picture on social media
The all-rounder has not played competitive cricket since the T20I series against South Africa at home last September due to a lower-back injury.
2020 started on a stunning note for India all-rounder Hardik Pandya. On New Year’s Day, the India ace got engaged to Bollywood actress Natasa Stankovic. While the rumour of the relationship between the two was doing the rounds for months, Pandya and Natasa kept things under the wrap before the cricketer announced it publicly on Instagram on New Year’s eve.
And just a few hours later, he proposed to Natasa and the latter had no hesitation in saying yes as the love birds enjoyed their time out in the sea during the romantic moment. Pandya had popped the question to Natasa on a ferry ride in Dubai. They were also accompanied by a few of their friends. And with the relationship now known to one and all, Natasa, on Monday, decided to give the fans a glimpse of the couple’s personal life.
The model-cum-actor shared a steamy hot throwback picture with her beau on Instagram. Flaunting their perfectly toned beach bods, both Natasa and Hardik gave their fans some major fitness goals in their latest picture. Natasa captioned the image “#throwback” and also tagged Hardik.
Hardik Pandya trains with Team India ahead of Australia series
As far as playing is concerned, Hardik Pandya has been quite unlucky. The all-rounder has not played competitive cricket since the T20I series against South Africa at home last September due to a lower-back injury that was bothering him since 2018 Asia Cup. In October, he underwent surgery on his back in the UK.
Earlier this month, the all-rounder was also named in India A’s squad for the one-day games in New Zealand. However, he pulled out of the tour at the last moment with BCCI stating that his rehabilitation is taking longer than expected. Consequently, he was replaced in the India A squad by Tamil Nadu ace Vijay Shankar.
But on Monday, Hardik Pandya was seen training with Team India in Mumbai. With India preparing for the first ODI against Australia, the 26-year-old joined his teammates at the Wankhede Stadium. He bowled in the nets and made it clear that his comeback is not very far away.
