The inaugural edition of the T10 Cricket League is all set to get underway in the UAE. The tournament kicks off on December 14 and concludes after three days of high intensity cricket action on December 17. T10 Cricket League is a unique format of the game with some unusual set of cricket rules. Albeit the tournament is not sanctioned by the ICC, there are several big names participating in the league.
The league features 6 teams – Maratha Arabians, Punjabi Legends, Bengal Tigers, Kerala Kings, Pakhtoon and Team Sri Lanka Cricket. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag will be leading the Maratha Arabians side in the tournament. He has also been named as the icon of the tournament.
Hyderabad based Heera Group has managed to bag the title sponsorship rights. There has been a lot of speculations about the tournament. Nonetheless, the buildup for the tournament has been immense. Here is all that you need to know about the T10 Cricket League.

Official broadcasters
The official broadcasting rights have been bagged by the Ten network in Pakistan. Ten Sports will telecast the matches in Pakistan. In India, the Sony ESPN network has bagged the rights. Channel 9 will be the one showcasing the event in Bangladesh. For the Middle East and the North Africa, the OSN has the official rights. ARY Digital Network owns the rights for the UK and the USA.
