Need to have clarity of mind while bowling in T10 League: Abhimanyu Mithun

Former India pacer Abhimanyu Mithun is quite excited about his stint in the upcoming season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League which will get underway on November 19. The Indian pacer believes that his participation in T10 League will open up new avenues for him all over the world. Mithun sounded excited while adding that many big names around the world line up for this league and he will have a great experience.
Talking about Mithun, he grew up as a cricketer while playing Ranji Trophy for Karnataka while also playing for RCB in IPL 2009, Mumbai Indians in 2015, and SRH in 2016-18. The 32-year-old cricketer has so far taken 69 wickets in 74 Twenty20 games so far.
“This (Abu Dhabi T10) is the fastest format and I was really excited when I got an opportunity to play in this tournament. There are a lot of good international cricketers who play in the competition. So, I thought it will be a good opportunity for me to attain the experience of playing on the big stage. If I do well then, I can play in leagues all around the world,” said Mithun as quoted by News 18.
I have to plan the 12 balls according to my strengths: Abhimanyu Mithun
While talking about the format of the game, the pacer added that he needs to move with clarity of mind as he will have a limited of 12 balls to prove his mettle. Mithun stated that he would have to be clear in execution and make the best use of his strengths. The pacer who has also played four Tests for India added that he will take motivation for the T10 League from his recent good performances.
“I have to be clear in mind when I am bowling in the matches as I have just 12 deliveries to bowl. I have to be clear about what I have to execute in a given situation. I have to plan the 12 balls according to my strengths. After every ball I bowl, I will know exactly what I need to do,” he added.
