‘Neither is he respected nor is he a journalist’ – Virender Sehwag comes out in support of Wriddhiman Saha
The journalist had stated that he would never interview Saha again.
Wriddhiman Saha has revealed the conversation he had with a journalist. The journalist had asked Saha for an interview, and when the Indian cricketer did not answer the journalist’s call, the journalist had stated that he would never interview him again.
The journalist had even told Saha that he will not take insults kindly and had also told the wicketkeeper that he will remember the insult that was meted out to him. Saha had taken to Twitter and stated that after his contribution to the game, he was meted out such treatment from a journalist.
“After all of my contributions to Indian cricket. This is what I face from a so called “Respected” journalist! This is where the journalism has gone,” tweeted Saha.

Saha has played 40 Test matches for the Indian side and plundered 1353 runs at an average of close to 30. He last played a Test match for the Indian side in December 2021 against New Zealand. Saha scored 27 and 13 in the 2 innings that he played in that encounter against the Black Caps.
