Nepal's new recruit Gulshan Jha's perfume ball makes batsman gasp for breath
Gulshan Jha managed to grab the attention of the selectors in the two matches that he featured in, for the Nepal Police Club side.
Gulshan Jha is a name to reckon with in Nepal Cricket. What is so impressive about Jha is the fact that he has played just two domestic matches till now, has managed to impress the selectors, and has been drafted into the Nepal squad for the Tri-Series between Oman, Nepal, and the USA.
The tri-series will take place between 14th September and 20th September 2021, and will be played in Oman. Jha managed to grab the attention of the selectors in the two matches that he featured in, for the Nepal Police Club side.
In the encounter between the Nepal Police Club and Armed Police Force Club, Jha made the Armed Police Force Club batsmen appear clueless with his raw pace and guile with the ball in hand. He picked up 4 wickets in the 7 overs that he bowled, giving away 36 runs, and paved the way for his side to beat their opposition with 8 wickets to spare.
The ball from Gulshan Jha that has emerged as the talking point in the cricketing world
Sometimes, one innings, one delivery or one moment of brilliance on the field can allow a player to grab the limelight. And, that is exactly what has happened in the case of Jha as well.
There is a video of Jha bowling a fiery bouncer to Khadak Bohora in the match between Nepal Police Club and Kathmandu Mayor’s XI. The batsman is done for pace, as the ball whizzes past his helmet at tremendous speed. The fact that Jha managed to get steep bounce off the surface makes the delivery a literally unplayable one.
