Samaira, daughter of India superstar Rohit Sharma, is fast becoming an internet sensation. The adorable girl steals everyone’s heart whenever Rohit Sharma or anyone else posts a picture or video of her across social media platforms. And recently, Rohit’s Indian Premier League (IPL) side Mumbai Indians captured one such heart-warming moment.
The opening batsman is currently sidelined with a calf injury that he sustained during the fifth and final T20I against New Zealand. Rohit has made the most of the time away from cricket by spending some quality time with his family. Coming to Mumbai Indians’ post, they posted an adorable picture of Rohit and Samaira.
In the picture, Rohit is seen showing something to his daughter from his phone. “On a scale of 1 to 10, how cute is Rohit’s new social media manager?” Mumbai Indians wrote on Twitter while also incorporating in it the photo Rohit’s daughter is apparently asking him to post it.

A busy summer for Rohit Sharma
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is gearing up for a busy summer ahead. The India star missed the ODI series in New Zealand and is also not a part of the Test squad after sustaining the calf injury. In his absence, Mayank Agarwal and Prithvi Shaw opened the innings in ODIs. India missed his services badly as they suffered a whitewash in the three-match ODI series.
Rohit will be soon seen in action in the upcoming season of IPL where he will be leading defending champions Mumbai Indians. The four-time winners will kickstart the competition by taking on bitter rivals Chennai Super Kings in a repeat of last year’s final on March 29 at the Wankhede Stadium. Rohit has already made Mumbai the most successful IPL side of all time by leading the team to a record four titles.
The right-handed batsman, nonetheless, could return to action before the IPL too. India will host South Africa for a three-match ODI series next month and Rohit could play that series. He recently posted a video of himself training in the gym and is looking set to recover before the South Africa series starts on March 12.
