New Zealand at Cricket World Cup Player by Player Analysis: New Zealand has announced its 15-man squad for the World Cup. Brendon McCullum will lead the squad and Kane Williamson will serve as vice-captain. The squad made headlines after Jimmy Neesham, who has been a regular in the side since his debut, was dropped and all-rounder Grant Elliot was picked, who last played an international in September 2013. Matt Henry who had a fantastic series against Pakistan in UAE was also dropped to the senior counter-part Tim Southee. The world cup has returned to the land of Kiwis after 1992 and the hosts will have an added advantage of playing all their matches at home grounds.
