New Zealand v Australia 1st Test, Day 2 – Statistical Highlights
With big hundreds from Usman Khawaja and Adam Voges Australia have managed to impose a situation for themselves in this Test match from where they cannot lose this Test match unless something dramatic transpires. Both Khawaja and Voges have created and broken many records today and throughout the day kept New Zealand bowlers silent. When Usman Khawaja was out for 140 runs against New Zealand pacer Trent Boult, the Kiwis had a chance to get back into the Test match, they also pushed the opening further by getting the wicket of Mitchell Marsh but thereafter Nevil and Siddle have played well with Voges and helped Voges who got to his 5th Test hundred.
At the end of the day, Australia were 463/6 and lead by 280 runs, here on all eyes will be on how big a lead can the Aussies manage and will Voges get to his yet another double ton in Test cricket.
