New Zealand's Probable squad for Cricket World Cup 2015
Tail Enders: Tim Southee, Adam Milne, Mitchell McClenaghan
Reserve: Matt Henry, Trent Boult
It is expected that New Zealand would go into any match with 3 front-line seamers, alongside a fast bowling all-rounder. Talking about all-rounders, they already have Corey Anderson, James Neesham, James Franklin and Jesse Ryder who can bowl pace and Daniel Vettori who is very handy as a spinner, as well as Nathan McCullum, who sets up the platform for pacers to take the wickets by tying up the opposition with wrist spin.
Amidst all the facts, the selectors will go for hit-the-deck bowlers as well as a tail that can wag when required. Their first choice will be Tim Southee, who can provide early breakthroughs, Adam Milne, the one who bowls consistently over 150 km/h and Mitchell McClenaghan, who can potentially use the old ball as well. Their bench will also be strong as they will have the talented new-comer, Matt Henry and the experienced, Trent Boult warming up and waiting for the shoes to be filled.
Probable XI: Martin Guptill, Jesse Ryder, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Brendon McCullum (c), Luke Ronchi (wk), Corey Anderson, Daniel Vettori/Nathan McCullum, Tim Southee, Adam Milne, Mitchell McClenaghan/Trent Boult
