Weather plays a crucial role in any game according to which the teams plan their strategies. So here we bring to you the weather forecast for the opening game of the tri-series between India and Sri Lanka.
Weather forecast
According to Accu Weather, currently, it is partly sunny and with slight chances of a shower in Colombo ahead of the match. However, there is nothing to worry for the fans as everything will get cleared by the time the match starts. The scheduled start of the game is 7 PM and the temperature during that period will revolve around 26 to 28-degree Celsius. Though there is almost 23% of chance of raining ahead of the encounter by 6 PM, it dramatically goes down to 1% when the game is about to start.
The humidity of 79% will play its part and it might take a toll on the players as there are fewer chances of dew coming in during the later parts of the game. So the team winning the toss might not have to worry much about the dew factor while taking their decision.
Overall Verdict: Weather is perfect for the match to be played and even though there is a chance of a little delay to begin the game due to rain, expect an entertainment of full 40 overs for the jam-packed crowd.
