Nitish Rana gets engaged to his girlfriend Saachi Marwah

The wedding season among the Indian cricketers began with the Indian captain Virat Kohli getting hitched to the Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma last year. The trend has continued since then with many of the players deciding to get settled by marrying their girlfriends. Even Mayank Agarwal got married last week and Sandeep Sharma too got engaged. However, Nitish Rana is the latest addition to the list as he got betrothed to the love of his life Saachi Marwah.

The promising left-handed batsman was the part of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL). He batted in the middle-order for his new franchise and was impressive in his approach during the tournament. His part-time off-spin bowling too reaped rich rewards at times as his all-round ability came to the fore during the tournament.

Nitish Rana was in a relationship with Saachi for a long time now and finally, they got engaged on Sunday. His Delhi teammate Dhruv Shorey confirmed the news by posting the picture of the adorable couple on his latest Instagram story. It seems that he attended the ceremony and congratulated his teammate for the same.

Saachi is an interior architect from Delhi and the couple more often shares a lot of pictures on social media spending time with each other. Their marriage date is not confirmed yet though but the pictures of the event might soon go viral on social media.

Rana is being touted as the future star of India as he is a very talented cricketer. Even in the IPL this year, he scored 304 runs in 15 matches at a brilliant strike-rate of 131. He also scalped 4 wickets while rolling his arm and a couple of those were of AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli. He has an ability to become an all-rounder and the 24-year-old will be looking to continue in the same vein in the upcoming domestic season as well.
