'Number one bowler on the field and style icon off the field' - Krunal Pandya tweets for Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah, who is currently recovering from a back injury that he sustained ahead of the Test series against South Africa, is the new bowling sensation in India. He’s been prolific with the ball for Team India in the last couple of years in every format. After being sidelined from cricket due to his injury, the Indian speedster is spending more time on social media. But, recently Krunal Pandya, his Mumbai Indians fellow teammate, hilariously pulled his leg on his recent activity on Twitter.

Ahmedabad-born cricketer is ranked as the number one bowler in ODIs, followed by the number 4th position in Tests. Indian quick has taken more than 200 International wickets across all the formats for Indian team who made his debut back in 2016 against Australia in Sydney.

Earlier, there were reports that Bumrah will have to undergo surgery for his back that could have extended his time away from cricket but now it has been confirmed by the doctors that Jasprit’s body has recovered from his stress fracture and denied any requirement of surgery.

25-year-old usually inspires youngsters and grassroots cricketers, who aspire to be an international cricketer in the future, with his on-field performances. After becoming more active on social media platforms, he quite frequently comes up with inspiring quotes and captions for his fans.

Recently he shared a picture of him wearing a yellow T-shirt with black colour denim jeans on Twitter. Along with his photo, he didn’t forget to give a motivational caption to it, and wrote, “Many hopes, new dreams, undiscovered horizons and fresh perspectives. May this festive season inspire and drive you to reach new heights and set bigger goals.”

The tweet from Indian bowler caught the eye of his Mumbai Indian teammate Krunal Pandya. In a reply to Bumrah’s tweet, Krunal came out with a hilarious tweet and was seen pulling Jasprit Bumrah’s leg, “Number one bowler on the field and style icon off the field.”
