Oman D10 2022: Day 7 – Round Up

Day seven of the ongoing Oman D10 Cup saw four games being played where the first game of the day got staged between Azaiba XI and Qurum Thunders and the latter won the game by six wickets. Winning the toss, Azaiba went to the field to bat first and posted only 98 runs in their quota of 10 overs. Arsalan Bashir top scored with 29 runs.

On the other hand, when Thunders started to chase, KashyapKumar Prajapati gave a fine start to his team with his rocking 44 off 19 deliveries. It was Sandeep Goud who supported towards the end with his 13-ball 24 which saw their team finishing the game in just 8.3 overs after losing four wickets in the process.

Khuwair Warriors vs Bousher Busters

The second match on day seven saw action between Khuwair Warriors and Bousher Busters where Busters won the game by eight wickets. Winning the toss, the Warriors went on to bat first and posted 93 runs in 10 overs after losing six wickets. Azam Ali shined with the bat with his solid 51 runs off 28 balls. In return, Busters got successful in chasing the score in only 6.1 overs, courtesy of great starts by Abdul Rauf-I (28 off 12) and Asif Khan- III (56 off 18). Khan was also declared as the player of the match.

Darsait Titans vs Ruwi Rangers

The third match of day seven saw action between Darsait Titans and Ruwi Rangers where Rangers bagged the game by six wickets. After winning the toss, Rangers invited Titans to bat first and they posted a competitive total of 112 runs on the board. Zeeshan Maqsoon stood out with the bat while smashing a prolific fifty. However, a complete batting effort from the Rangers saw them winning the game eventually where Khalid Kail shined with his 43 off 17.

Ghubrah Giants vs Amerat Royals

The final match of day seven got played between Ghubrah Giants and Amerat Royals where Giants won the game by seven runs. Giants after winning the toss chose to bat first and posted a fine total of 123 runs in 10 overs, riding on the back of Ali Kashif’s 62 off 30 balls. On the other hand, the Royals remained seven runs short of the target where the main contribution poured in from willows of Akshay Patel 33 off 17 and Vinayak Shukla 32 off nine balls.
