Oman D10 Cup 2022: Updated points table after Day 7

The ongoing edition of the Oman D10 Cup 2022 has so far seen many enthralling matches with some lopsided encounters as well. While there were a few games where teams scored well in excess of 100 runs from their 10 overs, there were some instances where the chasing teams overhauled mammoth targets with ease.

The Ruwi Rangers and Qurum Thunders have been two of the in-form teams so far in this tournament as they played outstanding cricket throughout to take the first two spots in the points table. There is still scope for the Amerat Royals and Azaiba XI to make amends in the business end as the competition heats up.

Here’s a look at the Oman D10 Cup 2022 points table

The Ruwi Rangers currently occupy the pole position in the Oman D10 Cup 2022 points table with five wins from six matches and 10 points to their tally with a far superior net run rate of 3.303. Qurum Thunders take the second position having won as many matches and as many points from their six games so far as compared to the Rangers. However, it is the NRR that separates both sides. The Thunders have an NRR of 1.940.

Bousher Busters and Amerat Royals are placed at the third and fourth positions respectively having registered four victories from six games and eight points to their tally. While the Busters’ net run rate is 1.588, the NRR of the Royals is 1.248.

Azaiba XI and Ghubrah Giants have won three of their six matches and have also lost three each and occupy the fifth and sixth spots in the points table with six points. Their net run rate is negative as well. Azaiba’s NRR stands as -0.263 while that of the Giants is -0.762.

Having failed to register even a single win under their belt in the six outings so far, the last two spots have been taken by the Darsait Titans and the Khuwair Warriors. While both sides are yet to open their account in this tournament, the Titans who are at the second last position have an NRR of -2.934 and the bottom-placed Warriors’ NRR reads as -4.258.
