On Saturday (April 24) evening, the Sunrisers Hyderabad showed off their bowling strength, skittling out the Royal Challengers Bangalore batting unit just minutes into the game. RCB batters were numb against the SRH bowling line-up and had no answers to their spell. RCB lost seven wickets in the first ten overs of the innings.
Though every bowler contributed well in the game, one person who has to be accredited for his marvellous three-wicket haul, which came in one single over. The South African youngster Marco Jansen dismissed Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat in the very first over that he bowled, adding three major wickets to his belt.
In a video shared by the Hyderabad franchise on their social media, Jansen expressed his feelings after living the big moment of his life. He also termed it one of the best overs he has bowled ever in white-ball cricket.
“Great win for the team today. One of my best white ball overs that I have bowled. Very happy to get those three wickets in my first over. Especially getting Faf and Virat Kohli out and then my last wicket, getting the left-hander (Anuj Rawat) off. Everyone bowled well. Everyone bowled as a unit. Everyone fielded well. The batters finish it off as always. Great win for us. Hopefully, we can keep up the form. On to the next one,” said Jansen in the video.
