Sunrisers Hyderabad had a forgettable time in the now-postponed IPL 2021 as they lost six of their seven games. Although there were many shortcomings in the side, lack of firepower was one of the biggest ones. The middle and lower-order batsmen were failing constantly despite getting magnificent starts from openers.

Hence, someone like Faheem Ashraf would have helped him in this department. The southpaw can accumulate quick runs in end overs with his wide range of shots. Not only that, he’ll constantly bowl his quota of four overs to balance the combination. SRH need a player with precisely these abilities and Ashraf fits for the job.

The 27-year-old all-rounder has been a vital part of Pakistan’s T20I team, and his record is also impressive. He strikes at 128.22 in T20Is, and his economy rate after 42 games is just 7.54. Moreover, Ashraf also has a hat-trick in T20Is, and he wouldn’t mind taking one in IPL.
