'Oscar Nomination' - Yuvraj Singh mocks Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara for their acting skills

Several India legends including the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh are presently in Raipur for the ongoing Road Safety World Series. The tournament is an initiative by Road Safety Cell of Maharashtra in association with Professional Management Group – Sunil Gavaskar is the commissioner of the series, while Sachin Tendulkar is its brand ambassador.

A total of six teams – India Legends, West Indies Legends, Bangladesh Legends, South Africa Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, England Legends – are participating in the tournament. India Legends have made it to the final after beating West Indies in the semifinal on Wednesday. Both Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh starred in the game as India Legends registered a thrilling 12-run win over West Indies Legends.

Batting first, India Legends posted a mammoth total of 218 for 3 in 20 overs with Tendulkar smashing 65 off 42 and Yuvraj blasting an unbeaten 49 off 20 balls. In reply, West Indies put up a good fight with the bat but eventually fell short by 12 runs. They finished their innings on 206 for 6 with Dwayne Smith and Narsingh Deonarine scoring fifties. Brian Lara also played an impressive knock of 46 off 28 balls.

Yuvraj Singh trolls Sachin Tendulkar:

India Legends will lock horns against Sri Lanka Legends in the final of the Road Safety World Series. Sri Lanka made it to the final after beating South Africa Legends by 8 wickets in the second semifinal. The much-anticipated final will take place on Sunday (March 21). And ahead of the final, Yuvraj Singh has hilariously trolled Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara for their acting skills.

It all began when Tendulkar took to Twitter to post a video on the social media platform to raise awareness about road safety. Tendulkar and Lara featured in the video. In the video, the legendary batsmen are seen talking about the importance of wearing a helmet while riding a two-wheeler. The video starts off with Tendulkar talking to the camera, informing about his whereabouts.

“We are here [in Raipur] for the Road Safety World Series. The hotel that we are staying in is a massive hotel. Thankfully, we have this scooter (points to the blue two-wheeler) to ride on,” said Tendulkar. And just when he is getting ready to leave, Lara walked up to him to accompany him on the ride. It was followed by a conversation on the importance of helmets.

And Yuvraj could not resist pulling Tendulkar and Lara’s legs for their acting. Reacting hilariously to the video, the India legend wrote: “Oscar nomination”
