Our niceness should never be comprehended as our weakness, says Sachin Tendulkar after IAF air-strike

The Indian Air Force, in the wee hours of Tuesday, performed an air strike on the three Jaish-e-Mohammed’s terrorist camps in response to the Pulwama attack on February. The air-strike is being termed as the Surgical Strike 2.0 by many as the reports claim of 200-300 militants being killed. As more details are being awaited, India is celebrating the successful attack by IAF.

The social media is flooded with the congratulatory messages for the IAF for their bravery and the whole nation is saluting. Even the former and current Indian cricketers are not behind and the ones who condemned the dastard attack in Pulwama have now come out praising the IAF for their efforts.

Sachin Tendulkar has also come up with a strong statement now and cleared that India’s niceness shouldn’t be taken for granted and saluted the IAF for the successful mission. “Our niceness should never be comprehended as our weakness. I salute the IAF, Jai Hind,” he tweeted.

Sachin on boycotting Pakistan in World Cup

Earlier, after the Pulwama attack when the nation was fuming, there were calls for India not playing against Pakistan in the upcoming World Cup later this year. When asked about the same, Sachin Tendulkar had said that he would personally hate giving two points to Pakistan. However, the master blaster also made it clear that he would stand by the Government and nation’s decision in the end, whatsoever it may be.

“India has always come up trumps against Pakistan in the World Cup. Time to beat them once again. Would personally hate to give them two points and help them in the tournament. Having said that, for me India always comes first, so whatever my country decides, I will back that decision with all my heart,” he had earlier.

There was a lot of controversy after that as some of them felt that Sachin Tendulkar is in favour of India playing their neighbours in the mega event.
