Replying to the post, Yuvraj Singh, “Oye Sachin Kumar ehhh.”
Both Sachin and Yuvraj share a good bond between them and have played for India together for a good time as well. After retirement, both Sachin and Yuvraj also participated in the Road Safety World Series in Raipur last year, which was eventually won by the India Legends after defeating Sri Lanka Legends in the final by 14 runs.
Meanwhile, Tendulkar was in the news recently when a former West Indies pacer Winston Benjamin requested Sachin to help and provide some cricket equipment for the local talents in the Caribbean.
“Previously, we used to have a tournament in Sharjah where it used to be like a benefit game for players from different countries,” said Benjamin in a video uploaded by a journalist.
“I don’t want the benefit. All I want is for somebody to say ‘here is some equipment’ – 10-15 bats, that is good enough for me. I don’t want 20000 US dollars. I just want some equipment so that I can give back to youngsters. That’s all I am asking,” he added.
Benjamin also thanked former Indian skipper Mohammed Azharuddin for his assistance in providing cricket equipment for local talents in the Caribbean.
