Jasprit Bumrah is indeed one of the finest fast bowlers going around and his records speak volumes of his prowess. Be it chocking the flow of runs or taking wickets at regular intervals, there’s hardly anything that the Indian pacer can’t do with the ball in hand. While Bumrah has many tricks up his sleeves, his unorthodox action makes his deliveries even more lethal.

Although Bumrah’s run-up and release of the ball aren’t traditional, they have earned him a lot of success. Owing to the same, many aspiring and professional bowlers have tried replicating his action. In fact, social media is flooded with videos of Bumrah’s fans trying to emulate his set of movements while bowling. Bumrah’s latest variant was recently spotted in the European Cricket Championship.

In a video that has gone viral, a player can be seen bowling with an action similar to Bumrah’s. His run-up was pretty identical with his body being a little bit bent to the left side. His release of the ball also seems to have been inspired by the star fast bowler. Fans were pretty impressed after coming across the clip and the bowler also garnered a lot of limelight.

Meanwhile, the speedster is currently plying his trade for Mumbai Indians in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. He has been in impressive form as well, taking 16 wickets in his first 11 games. Unfortunately for him, MI haven’t been on a roll and are struggling to get a place in the playoffs.

With five wins in 11 games, the five-time champions are currently placed fifth in the team standings. Hence, they need to win almost all their games to secure a place in the playoffs. Although the challenge is hefty, the MI squad is studded with match-winners and other teams can’t afford to take them lightly.

Bumrah certainly has to come good in the latter half of the tournament to help his side. Not to forget, the India-based competition will be followed by the high-voltage T20 World Cup 2021. With the global event also taking place in UAE alongside Oman, the pacer would de determined to do well.
