Pakistan cricketers not to attend Hasan Ali’s wedding ceremony in Dubai

Hasan Ali, the Pakistan fast bowler is all set to enter wedlock on Tuesday, August 20 with Indian girl Samia Arzoo. The auspicious occasion is set to be staged at the Dubai’s Atlantis Palm Hotel in Dubai. It was last month when the speedster made the revelations about his wedding. The bride belongs to the Mewat district of Haryana and is based in Dubai for the last three years with her parents.

In the meantime, it has been learned that most of the Pakistan cricketers won’t be able to attend the wedding ceremony. The same is owing to the conflicting training schedules. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently put forth names of 20 cricketers for a pre-season camp, which has already gotten underway on Monday, August 19 at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Pakistan cricketers have the other way around

However, Hasan will host a walima ceremony (a traditional banquet hosted by the groom after the wedding) in Pakistan after a month or so after his honeymoon as per reports in Gulf News. Therefore, in that scenario, the Pakistani players can be a part of Hasan’s special moments. The 25-year-old Hasan won’t be part of the pre-season camp in the first week owing to his marriage.

The training camp is being headed by Misbah-ul-Haq, the former Pakistan captain, and is in charge of planning the training programme along with some help from the support staff at the NCA. The first two days of the camp are kept for fitness training after which a 17-day conditioning camp will take place from August 22. The camp is scheduled to continue until September 7.

A few of the Pakistan cricketers, including the likes of Babar Azam, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Abbas weren’t included. They were allowed to complete their stints in the English domestic circuit and will join the teams for the upcoming Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

The list has 14 cricketers, who are centrally contracted, and six, who aren’t. In the upcoming season, Pakistan will play six games in the World Test Championship, three ODIs and nine T20Is. In domestic cricket, the players are also being prepared for the National T20 Cup and the Pakistan One Day Cup.
