Pakistan spinner Raza Hasan tested positive in a Dope test faces 2 years ban: 

Pakistan spinner Raza Hasan who last appeared for the Pakistan side in December 2014 is banned from playing any form of cricket for two years after he failed a dope test in a domestic competition.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) conducted random testing during a Pentangular one-day cup 2015 at Karachi and sent Hasan’s samples to a World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) accredited laboratory in India.

A Press Statement by the PCB said: “Hasan has been banned for two years on a failed dope test, making him ineligible to participate in cricket,”

On the period of his ban the PCB said: “Hasan will not be entitled to take part in any capacity, in any cricket match or activity authorized or organized by the PCB.”

The PCB notified Hasan a Notice of Charge on March 24 which he received in person, and he was to send a written request for hearing within 14 days which he failed to do so.

Hasan Raza a product of Pakistan Under-19 team debuted for senior national team in September 2012. He further went on to participate in World T20 in Sri Lanka, where he took three wickets in four matches at an economy of 4.93.

The 22-year-old once seen as a perfect replacement for Saeed Ajmal when the star off-spinner was banned for chucking last year will now serve completely away from the game for a couple of years. The youngster couldn’t fulfill the promise and managed to play only a single ODI game in December 2014 against the touring New Zealand side.
