Pakistan eased its way to a simple 133 runs win to take an unassailable 2-0 lead after bowling out West Indies for 322 runs on day five at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Dubai. West Indies were able to add only 151 runs to their overnight score of 171/4 and were bundled just after the Lunch session with Yasir Shah claiming a fabulous 6/124.

The victory did not come instantly for the Pakistan as it was being expected. West Indies had a tedious task of surviving the full day’s play. And, they did start well with Jermaine Blackwood and Roston Chase playing in each other’s company adding 16 runs to the team total in 9.2 overs.

Runs didn’t matter to them; the number of overs consumed was the most important things. But, the raging Yasir Shah then began creating inroads- firstly by breaking the stand with the wicket of Chase. A nice loopy delivery which turned sharply was al it was required to make Chase depart. The spinning delivery lured him on the front and kissed the edge before Sarfraz Ahmed collected it.

Blackwood, however, looked defiant and made the Pakistan bowlers work hard, moved on swiftly to 95 off 127 with the help of 11 fours. He put 57 runs for the 6th wicket with his skipper Shai Hope but leg spinner Shah broke through again and dismisses Blackwood soon after the second new ball was taken.

Yasir also dismissed Jason Holder to pick up his eighth five-wicket haul and reduce West Indies to 266 for 7. All these scenes happened inside the morning session. Loss looked inevitable for the Windies with tail exposed now. Shai Hope along with Bishoo continued to battle after Lunch but both could not do much. The match finished saw its end quickly after the Lunch session.

Zulfiqar Babar, who had been trying relentlessly for wickets since yesterday, chipped in with wickets of Hope while Shah made it six wickets by pocketing Cummins before Babar came in again and picked the final wicket of Bishoo and seal the match for Pakistan.
