Kiwi captain Kane Williamson falls into the category of those cricketers who will never disappoint his fans in terms of commitment on the field. If he can’t contribute with the bat, he will do something brilliant on the field and some way or the other, he will end up having his say in the match.
The ongoing T20I series against Pakistan is not proving to be a great experience for New Zealand. After losing the first game, they went down after a hard-fought tussle in the second one as well. Although the game turned out to be a disappointing one for the visitors, Williamson did provide a moment of magic.
In the fifth over, the dangerous looking Fakhar Zaman miscued his cross-batted smash and the ball floated towards mid-off. The Kiwi skipper flew to his left and took a one-handed blinder just inches from the ground, giving some hope for the side to fight for.
Here’s the video of that stunning catch from Williamson:
WHAT. A. CATCH. 😲
Is that a bird? No, that's Kane Williamson! He dives away to his left and picks up a brilliant catch. @FakharZamanLive cannot believe it

Pakistan extend their unbeaten T20I streak
It was another day at the office for Sarfraz Ahmed and his side as they defeated New Zealand to clinch the T20I series 2-0 with another game remaining. New Zealand won the toss in this fixture and opted to bat first. Colin Munro and Kane Williamson gave them a breathtaking start, but the Pakistan quicks intervened.
A beautiful spell from Shaheen Afridi in the middle overs sabotaged the Kiwi ambitions of flying high. At one point it seemed like they will end up with a paltry total, but Corey Anderson’s 25-ball 44 helped them score 153 in their 20 overs. Afridi returned with figures of 3/20 in four overs.
Fakhar Zaman gave the hosts a power-packed start and the likes of Babar Azam and Asif Ali were quick to bank on it. They never really looked out of control and eventually, Mohammad Hafeez came out and finished the game with a 21-ball 34. Pakistan are now unbeaten in 11 consecutive T20I bilateral series.
