Pakistan have sealed the three-match ODI series against West Indies already, having won the first two games. The hosts will be looking to try out their bench strength in the final game at the Multan Stadium. On the other hand, the visitors have nothing to lose and will come out all guns blazing.
West Indies still have a few troubles with their batting lineup that has been inconsistent, and they will need to come up with a better performance. Nicholas Pooran is yet to fire in the series and the skipper will be looking to lead the fight back with an impact performance. Alzarri Joseph has been quite economical while Shamarh Brooks has shown positive signs with the bat.
On the other hand, Pakistan have been blessed with fast bowling options and each of them have stepped up whenever the opportunity has been presented. Mohammad Haris is yet to unleash his potential in the international arena, however, he is a phenomenal talent who did exceedingly well in PSL 2022. It will be interesting too see if Pakistan stay to their winning combination.
Pitch Conditions
The two games so far in the venue have shown signs of good batting conditions and wickets in hand will be key to success for scoring a big total. Pakistan has managed to post scores of above 250 in both the games and there has been some assistance for the bowlers as well. The captain that wins the toss will be looking to chase down.
