The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is being praised from all over the world after he led the Indian team to their maiden ODI series victory in South Africa. It was not just the victory that impressed everyone but the way the captain led from the front has left them lost for words. Kohli slammed as many as three centuries in the series and raked a massive 558 runs in the six matches of the series. However, even the women cricketers from Pakistan were awestruck after he scored a ton in the chase yet again on Friday.
Kohli came out to bat after the visitors lost the wicket of Rohit Sharma early in the pursuit of 205 to makei t 5-1 in the series. He literally toyed with the bowlers since then and looked in no trouble whatsoever thrashing them all around the park. Fittingly, he finished the game with a disdainfully drive past mid-on off Imran Tahir and remained unbeaten on 129 off just 96 deliveries as the Men in Blue won the game with more than 17 overs to spare.
He is a genius
While Virat Kohli is scoring his centuries at an unimaginable rate, his fans are increasing after his each heroic knock. The latest to enter the list are the women cricketers from Pakistan, Syeda Nain Abidi and Kainat Imtiaz. Both became the fan of the Indian captan after watching him score his third century of the series and hailed him for his consistency. Syeda, in her message, termed Kohli as a genius which read, “So focussed and concentrated as a batsman! 100 number 35! Absolutely amazing batting !! He is a Genius!! @imVkohli #INDvSA.”
