James ‘Jimmy’ Neesham, the New Zealand all-rounder was an image of heartbreak when the Kiwis came up short against England in the finals of the recently concluded ICC World Cup 2019 at Lord’s on July 14. The all-rounder had made 14 runs out of the 16 needed for his team in the Super Over, which ended up in a tie and England became first-time world champions.

New Zealand performed better than expected as Tom Latham scored a brilliant 154 and BJ Watling continued his amazing vein of form in the Indian subcontinent by scoring a century as well. Now, the Black Caps will look forward to bringing success in the shortest format of the game, where all the three T20Is will be played in Pallekele. Tim Southee will lead the Kiwis as Kane Williamson has been rested. In the meantime, Neesham entertained everyone with his antics on Twitter, as he received a proposition of love from a Pakistani actress.

Pakistani TV actress Sehar Shinwari, who currently works in Pashto channel Avt Khyber, took to Twitter in order to send a flirty proposition to the New Zealander. Shinwari asked Neesham to be the father of her future kids, with some emojis. She tweeted, “Jimmy would you like to be daddy of my future kids”

To this, the ever-witty Kiwi responded in kind, but in a flirtatious kind of way, saying “I really feel like the emojis were unnecessary” It seems like Neesham knew that Shinwari was speaking in jest and replied in the same vein. This shows how quickly the all-rounder knows to come up with an answer which is funny and hilarious.

Talking about his wit on social media, he was recently asked by a fan on Instagram Q&A, who his favorite Indian cricket player was and Neesham replied that it was his Kiwi teammate Ish Sodhi, who was born in Ludhiana, Punjab and whose full name is Inderbir Singh Sodhi.

Neesham shares a very healthy rapport with the Indian fans given that he had appealed them to resell the World Cup final tickets on official websites after New Zealand had defeated India in semi-finals, leaving the Men in Blue fans in distraught.
