Pat Cummins donates $50000 to PM Cares Relief Fund for oxygen supplies to India
Pat Cummins stated in his tweet that he loves India and the people of the country were some of the nicest he has ever met.
Pat Cummins’ announcement on Twitter will surely win the hearts of people. In a message on his official Twitter handle, the Australian pacer has stated that he has made a contribution of $50000 to the Prime Minister’s (PM) Relief Fund for the purchase of oxygen supplies to Indian hospitals.
Cummins has put out a long message where he has stated that he loves India and the people of the country were some of the nicest he has ever met. He also added that he was told that the Indian Government was of the view that conducting the IPL in these difficult times will provide a few hours of joy to the people of India.
Adding that he has also felt helpless, Cummins stated in his tweet that people should channelize their emotions into actions that will bring some light into the lives of people. Cummins hopes that his donation will make a difference to somebody.

Pat Cummins has been in decent form in the 14th IPL edition
Pat Cummins has been in decent form in the 2021 edition of the IPL for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) side. The all-rounder averages 27.33 with the willow in hand and has scored his runs at a strike rate of 190.70. With the ball, the right arm pace has picked up 4 wickets in the 5 matches that he has played.
The Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, have suffered a disastrous start to their IPL campaign this year. They have managed to muster just 2 points in the ongoing edition of the IPL, and are placed at 8th place in the points table.
In their previous match, the Eoin Morgan-led outfit was thrashed by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) side. The Kolkata side posted a total of just 133/9 on the board, and the Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan side chased it down with 6 wickets and 7 balls to spare.
Pat Cummins and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will next be seen in action on 26th April 2021 when they take on the KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings (PBKS).
