Paul Heyman of WWE fame posts a cheeky tweet for 'amazing' MS Dhoni

The cricket fraternity has been showering praises on veteran Indian cricketer MS Dhoni. Dhoni’s heroics in the recently concluded ODI series against Australia helped the Indian side register a historic series win. The Men in Blue conquered a bilateral ODI series against the Aussies on the Australian soil for the first time in the history of their 71-year-old rivalry.

MS Dhoni was one of the chief architects of the Indian win. Dhoni aggregated 193 runs in the three matches and scored three consecutive fifties, including two unbeaten ones. It is worth noting that in the first ODI in Sydney, he was adjudged out by an umpiring blunder. India lost the game and had Dhoni stayed, one would imagine that even that game could have been in India’s pocket.

In any case, the veteran master continued his good run of form and ensured that he took the side over the line in the remaining fixtures to see a 2-1 scoreline for the team. No wonder why the cricket world has been going gaga over the resurgence of the ‘best finisher’.

While the good wishes from the cricket world are quite an expected proposition here, an unlikely praise has come in for Dhoni from the world of WWE. Paul Heyman, the reputed manager of WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar, came up with a cheeky tweet praising Dhoni.

Paul Heyman commented on a tweet posted by Cricket World Cup. The tweet had praised MS Dhoni as the master of the game who thrives by the principle – Eat, Sleep, Finish Games, Repeat. Heyman, an advocate of a similar principle, has often been heard praising his client Brock Lesnar with the tagline ‘Eat, Sleep, Conquer, Repeat.’

Taking a cheeky dig at the tweet posted by Cricket World Cup for paraphrasing his mantra, Heyman remarked that he would be happy to get the credits for the tagline and is open to any mode of payments. Also, he did not miss out on praising Dhoni by calling him ‘amazing’ in his tweet.
