Fans were excited to witness the start of the tournament but their experience of watching the opening match wasn’t a great one. The Pakistan Cricket Board faced heavy criticism because of poor graphics and mismanagement in the tournament opener. The PCB was lambasted after scoreboards showed errors with poor graphics.
Moreover, ESPN was also unable to provide a live score since the tournament wasn’t streamed for fans outside of Pakistan. Unable to keep a track of the score, fans slammed the PCB for their poor management and a dysfunctional scoring system.
PCB offers its regrets for the technical glitch
After receiving heavy criticism, the board has apologised for their poor execution in the first match of the tournament. “The PCB offers its regrets to the fans for the technical glitch that resulted in the loss of live-scores during the 1st match.
This problem was resolved in the 2nd match & the PCB now hopes the graphics will fully support the quality pictures & commentary of the National T20 Cup,” the board said on Twitter. The official Twitter handle of PCB is also providing fans with the latest updates of all the matches.
After the first two matches on the opening day, fans will witness the contest between Baluchistan and Sindh in the third match, followed by Northern and Southern Punjab facing each other in the fourth match.
