Ever since his debut in 1989, a then 16-year-old batsman showed immense promise, and quite rightly as he evolved into one of the legends of the game of cricket.
In 2002, halfway through his career, Wisden Cricketers&#8217; Almanack ranked Sachin the second greatest Test batsman of all time, behind Don Bradman, and the second greatest ODI batsman of all time, behind Viv Richards.
Sachin tied the knot with his wife Anjali on 24 May 1995. The Master Blaster on several occasion has also lauded his wife for her imperative support when Tendulkar would hit a low. And the records speak for itself.

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly was dubbed as one of the best captains of his era. Not just his generation, he is still looked up as one of the leading skippers in the country. Known for his sheer brilliance and thinking on his feet, the ‘Prince of Kolkata’ had the ability to turn any match around with his brain-wracking tactics.
Apart from the captaincy duties, he was a batting dynamo as well. <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/sourav-ganguly-rates-rohit-sharma-par-virat-kohli-odis/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ganguly</a> was especially prolific through the off side and earned the nickname ‘God of the Off Side’ for his elegant strokeplay square of the wicket and through the cover.
However, Dada’s marriage story is an inspiring one. He eloped with his childhood sweetheart Dona Roy as the bride and groom&#8217;s family were sworn enemies at that point. The news of their escapade caused an uproar among them. However, both families reconciled and a formal wedding was held in February 1997.

Rahul Dravid is the perfect flagbearer for the gentleman’s sport. A gentleman himself, the former Indian captain is one of the most respected cricketers across the globe. Popularly known as ‘The Wall” for his formidable impetus while batting, Dravid had the ability to tear through any tenacious bowling attack and establish his ground.
However, little did this talented Indore-born boy know that he will fall in love with a brainy doctor. Dravid eventually tied the knot with his love interest Vijeta Pendharkar on May 4, 2003.
The Dravids and the Pendharkars have known each other for over 35 years. Pendharkar stayed in Bangalore between 1968 and 1971, and that is when the friendship between the duo began. Vijeta&#8217;s friends always thought that Rahul had a liking for Vijeta as he would visit her in Nagpur whenever he had a chance.
Their parents soon got the hint of the brewing romance and took no time to fix a wedding date for them. It was a love-cum-arranged marriage and a rather beautiful one.

At first, Sakshi believed that the messages from Dhoni were some kind of a prank, but she soon realized that it was the &#8216;captain of the Indian team&#8217; himself.
It eventually took a lot of wooing and chasing on Dhoni&#8217;s part, which went on for two months, to conquer the heart of this lady.
