It appears like British journalist Piers Morgan is keen on getting a response from former Indian opener Virender Sehwag on Twitter. Sehwag had yesterday posted that popular Indian anchor and host of the News Hour Arnab Goswami wanted him to speak on the show about Morgan but he denied since he doesn’t think he deserves any airtime.

He wrote- ‘Arnab Goswami wants me to speak on that British guys views on India on NewsHour, but that man doesnt deserve any airtime, hence I have denied’

Later, Morgan quoted Sehwag’s Tweet and wrote – ‘You mean you bottled it. I would too if I had to defend India’s Olympic record.’

The two have been holding swords against each other ever since Piers Morgan posted about the celebrations in India after two of their athletes won a bronze and a silver in the Rio Olympics. He had Tweeted, ‘Country with 1.2 billion people wildly celebrates 2 losing medals. How embarrassing is that?’

It didn’t go down well with Sehwag and he replied with – ‘We cherish every small happiness’, But Eng who invented Cricket,&yet2win a WC,still continue to playWC.Embarrassing?’

The Englishman was trolled by Indians on Twitter for his comments that were seen as a disrespect of the nation and its Olympic medalists. But he wasn’t willing to give it up that early. To provoke Sehwag further Morgan posted – ‘Hi @virendersehwag, I bet 1 million rupees to charity that England wins a ODI World Cup before India wins an Olympic Gold. Accept?’

Viru never replied to the challenge but definitely expressed his opinion about the journalist with his latest though indirect mention about him on Twitter.
