Yuzvendra Chahal has been spending most of his quarantine time, making videos on social media platform tik-tok. The COVID-19 pandemic has sent the whole of India in a 21-day lockdown and the cricketers are spending some quality time with their families. For Chahal, it’s not any different and he has kept himself in the limelight despite all cricketing activities coming to a halt.
As far as his tik-tok videos are concerned, during India’s tour of New Zealand, he made a video where he danced with his teammates. Then came a video where Chahal showed his dance moves with a couple of girls. Thereafter, he posted a video where he was having some fun with his friend. In the end, the young lady in the clip was seen, pulling Chahal’s cheeks and running away.

Then Chahal introduced his father on tik-tok. In a video, both were seen dancing. After the video came out, the netizens on Twitter made it a butt of joke. Now it was Rohit Sharma’s turn to make a mockery out of Chahal. Rohit was having a conversation with Jasprit Bumrah on Instagram Live. It was then that the Indian limited-overs vice-captain took a funny dig at Chahal.
”Chahal tu apne pitaji ko nacha rha hai. Tujhe sharam aa rha hai ki nahi, sa*a?(You are making your father dance. Aren’t you ashamed of yourself?),” Rohit said in the video.

In the same live chat, Rohit also dismissed Chahal’s desire of playing again for the Mumbai Indians (MI). Chahal started his Indian Premier League (IPL) career for MI, but could only manage to play a solitary match in three seasons. In 2014, MI released him and Chahal went to the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Ever since, he has been an indispensable member of the RCB franchise.
Chahal asked whether MI has been missing a leg-spinner. Replying to the same, Rohit said that since the Mumbai team is winning, Chahal won’t be required. Moreover, he also asked the tweaker to sit in Bangalore itself. Chahal and Rohit have shared a healthy camaraderie over the years and have had some hilarious conversations on social media.
