Players with most fifties in IPL history

T20 is a format where things happen faster than you blink your eyes. Thus, while batting first, each team tries to set a high scoring target for the opponent which is completely dependent on the form of their batsmen. This automatically builds pressure on the openers, middle-order batsmen, and finishers to deliver the numbers especially in T20 tournaments like the Indian Premier League (IPL).

In regards to putting a massive score on the board, team management and supporting staff expect consistency from its players. Consistent innings from only a single player throughout the season could always turn the tables in their favour. Not surprisingly, these batsmen have most number of fifties in the history of IPL. They have proved themselves as reliable batsmen and have changed the match situation taking the entire burden on their shoulders.

In terms of independently winning matches for their side, these players have gained the trust of the management and the fans over a period of time. Consistency and uniformity is the most important aspect of any batsman. Player’s reliability and regularity of performance could be either determined by their average or the number of the fifties scored in all seasons of the tournament.

Playing against the renowned foreign players, Indian players have shown their reliability for the franchise pleasingly.
