Former Sri Lanka Captain Tillakaratne Dilshan received the second most 11 Man of the match awards in ODIs after the 2011 World cup.

Dilshan who is still one of the most dangerous openers in world cricket has retired from the longer form of the game. An off spinner and an occasional wicketkeeper, Dilshan has been a valuable asset to the Lankan team since his debut in 1999.

Dilshan has received 11 man of the match awards after the unsuccessful 2011 World cup. Most of his vital contributions came at home or on the England tour where Sri Lanka defeated England in both the Test and ODI series for the very first time. He also got the Man of the match award recently for his century against New Zealand just before the World cup 2015 starts.

Dilshan will definitely be one of the batsmen to watch out for in the upcoming 2015 World cup.
