'Please tell him to become fast-bowling all-rounder' - KL Rahul after Krunal Pandya shares a clip with Hardik's son
KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya are said to be very close friends.
Since the day Hardik Pandya’s son is born the whole cricket fraternity has gone gaga over it. The newborn has got more attention than any Indian cricketer is the last few months as the cricket is not happening from because of the pandemic. The Indian all-rounder can also be seen on social media posting pictures and videos with his son which has got everybody’s interest.
Earlier Hardik’s brother Krunal Pandya also posted a picture with his nephew with a special message. Now, he can be seen with the newborn again in a newly posted video. The video doesn’t have any sound but Krunal can be seen saying something to the little one. He captioned it as, “Let’s talk cricket”.
KL Rahul, India’s new wicket-keeping sensation couldn’t withstand himself from commenting on the picture. He again raised the massive question of Indian cricket of the last 25 years, a fast-bowling all-rounder. KL Rahul wrote, “Please tell him to become a fast-bowling all-rounder”.
Notably, Hardik is India’s preferred choice as a pacer all-allrounder from last 4 years. The left-hander who just became an uncle also acknowledged by replying “yes” with laughing emojis.
KL Rahul will be captaining an IPL side for the first time
KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya are said to be very close friends. Last year, both of them were suspended by BCCI over their comments on a talk show. However, it seems like the incident hasn’t changed anything about their friendship as both can be seen as reacting to each other’s posts on social media. Indian cricket fans will be incredibly fascinated if the newborn could become fast-bowling all-rounder like his father as there is always a scarcity of them.
Cricket will be seen in action again with IPL is going to kick off on 19th September. Pandya brothers will be representing Mumbai Indians the defending champions.
This year is going to be different for KL Rahul as for the first time he will be captaining an IPL franchise, the Karnataka lad has been assigned to lead Kings XI Punjab, the team which hasn’t won any IPL title yet. It will be interesting to see how well he performs as a skipper also how his batting will be affected by additional burden. The stumper has been in great form lately and Punjab’s batting depends a lot on its skipper.
