'Please untag me' - Michael Vaughan deletes his tweet raising concerns over Jofra Archer's Test future after pacer requested

England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) recently revealed that their pacer Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the action for the rest of the year. He will thus miss the ongoing Test series against India at home, T20 World Cup in the UAE and the Ashes in Australia. His elbow injury has worsened despite undergoing surgery earlier in the year and former England cricketer Michael Vaughan has raised concerns over Archer’s Test future.

In his column for The Telegraph, Vaughan feared that Archer’s Test could be over with the elbow injury. However, he also reckoned that the fast bowler is still young and will get the best care and treatment during his time away from the game and hoped that he returns fitter.

“You have to fear for Jofra Archer’s Test career now. Archer is younger and will receive the best care and hopefully he will make a full recovery given time, but it is a worrying development,” Vaughan wrote in his column. He also shared his article on his official Twitter account tagging Jofra Archer in it.
