PM Narendra Modi graces his presence in Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding reception

The power couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma held first of their two wedding receptions on Thursday at Durbar Hall, Taj Enclave in New Delhi. Obviously, they stole all the limelight in the evening and looked absolutely stunning together. The event was no less than a royal one with the family members and friends of both the celebrities made their presence felt. However, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi also graced his presence on the evening and wished the newlyweds a happy married life.

Both Virat and Anushka had personally met Modi only a day before and had invited him to the grand reception. He obliged to their request and made sure he attended the event by gifting them a bouquet of roses. He was also seen speaking a word or two to the Indian captain and his newlywed wife for a decent period of time. Surely, he must have been wishing them well for the journey ahead. Mr Modi also posed for a click with the couple and others before leaving the function.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma reached the destination of the reception in the evening where the guests and media were already waiting for them to arrive. The newlyweds were welcomed as their family members and friends congratulated them on their wedding. Both were more than happy as the eminent personality like Narendra Modi attended the reception respecting their invitation. The video was snapped by the media while the Prime Minister was speaking to the wonderful couple and it is going viral now.

The second reception is expected to be star-studded as Bollywood will meet cricket on December 26. The Indian team will also make it to the event with their families as the ongoing T20I series will conclude just two days before the event in Mumbai. Even a lot of Bollywood superstars will also grace their presence to wish their colleague in the industry Anushka Sharma.
