Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, showed and showered his praises for the Indian U-19 head coach Rahul Dravid for his efforts in guiding the Prithvi Shaw led the team to the title yesterday.
India was arguably the best sides in the tournament and deservedly won the tournament, completing stand-out victories against every opposition that they faced in the tournament. After beginning the World Cup with a 100 run convincing victory over Australia, India went on to defeat the likes of PNG and Zimbabwe before they faced Bangladesh in the quarter-finals.
However, it was after Bangladesh that the Dravid-led side faced arch-rivals Pakistan in the semi-finals where they crushed them to a devastating victory before completing the rout with a win over Australia in the finals.
