Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is no stranger to the game of cricket. She marked his association with the gentleman’s game when she became the owner of the King’s XI Punjab team in the lucrative Indian Premier League in 2008. Preity Zinta was not the only B-Town superstar who bought teams that year but superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Shilpa Shetty also joined the list owning the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Rajasthan Royals respectively.

However, it was the ‘Baadshah of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan became the first Bollywood actor to cross the borders of the country and own a team outside when launched his second team in the name of Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League. Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta extended their relationship with the game of cricket even further by buying teams in the Global T20 League, a T20 tournament launched by Cricket South Africa, scheduled to kick off in November.

Zinta, unaware of the fact that the final was already over and the champions were crowned, wished best of luck to the Trinbago side.

The Twitterati took the opportunity to troll the Bollywood actress as she was too late with her wish. It was an embarrassing moment for Zinta as the fans had a session of laughter over her hilarious comment.
