Priyanka Chopra pleased to see the achievements of 'friends' Virat Kohli and Deepika Padukone

Over the years, the world has witnessed many iconic relationships and some supportive attachments between the cricketers and the Bollywood actors and actresses. Both of them are huge superstars for their stunning works in their respective professional careers, which is why many stars from the Bollywood share a different type of bond with a few cricketers.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who is now a well-known personality in Hollywood as well, congratulated her friends, actress Deepika Padukone and the Indian captain Virat Kohli for being listed in the tally of 100 most influential people of 2018 in the TIME magazine.

Priyanka showered praises for Deepika and Virat for being named in the popular category and mentioned that she feels very proud to see her friends doing so well in their lives. The Bollywood actress also noted that the two superstars in their own fields truly deserved the huge honours and she is very happy for them.

“So happy and proud to see my friends Deepika Padukone and Virat Kohli on the Time 100 list. Big congratulations and so well deserved. #DesiPower. #Represent,” wrote Priyanka on Twitter in her appreciations for Virat and Deepika.

Bollywood star Deepika was named in the Artists category, along with some of the famous Hollywood celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman, Gal Gadot, and some others too featured in the same category. While the Indian cricketer was listed in the Titans category along with Roger Federer and Oprah Winfrey also part of the same tally. Deepika featured in the exclusive category considering her massive achievements in acting world and her works to spread the important message of ‘Women Empowerment’ to the world.

While the Indian team batting legend has achieved some spectacular and mind-boggling numbers in all the three formats of the game. Many of the former cricketers, as well as the present, have often said that Kohli will end up his career being the biggest match-winner, especially in the 50-overs format. Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, whom Kohli considers his role model, wrote the Delhi-born batsman’s profile in the popular magazine where he highlighted Virat’s hunger and passion to succeed in the world of cricket.
